This image has a shattering effect, it's very powerful. The allusion to castration overwhelms, the feeling of desolation is complete. Everything, from the colours to the character's clothing contribute to create your atmosphere, it's a painful and excellent piece.

Oh wow I just now noticed the thing on the floor! I just saw a movie called "Little Children" and this made me think of that movie right away. Very moving piece.

I am very impressed with your image making. You are a very fine artist. This image is just about the composition of the subject and the object and yet the visual language is so defined.
